Representing the sixth grade are Bobby O’Fallon and Heather Fuchs; seventh grade, Kelly Schultz and Chris Kern; eighth grade, Ashley Wall and Scott Thompson. Teachers select the students based on their grades, class participation, and attitude in school.
Bobby O’Fallon is the son of Jim and Gretchen O’Fallon, rural Paynesville. His teachers state he puts very high priority on doing well in school, is friendly, involved in school activities, is very hardworking, and is a strong asset to the middle school.
Heather Fuchs is the daughter of Steve and Cindy Fuchs, Paynesville. Her teachers state she is a good student, involved in school activities, and a good contributor in class. She is a member of the sixth grade band, choir, speech and middle school student council.
Kelly Schultz is the daughter of Steve and Ruth Schultz, rural Paynesville. Her teachers state she has good work habits, is prompt and thorough on her class work. She was a member of the seventh grade volleyball team.
Chris Kern is the son of Randy and Doreen Kern, Paynesville. His teachers state Chris is polite, a hard worker in school, and well liked. He is a member of the middle school science club, band, choir and pops choir.
Scott Thompson is the son of Rick and Gail Thompson, rural Paynesville. His teachers state Scott displays a great work ethic in class, is a very good listener who strives to excell academically and that he is a positive model for class behavior and maturity. He is a member of the eighth grade basketball team and knowledge bowl team.
Ashley Wall is the daughter of Dan and Lori Wall, rural Paynesville. Her teachers state Ashley is very respectful to teachers and other students, possesses very good study habits and strives for quality work and seems to really enjoy all that school offers. She is a member of the eighth grade volleyball, basketball and track team.
