Paynesville Press - Oct. 27, 2010
Paynesville Area Hospital District Board of Directors |
Lois Johnson, 72, has served one term on the hospital board representing Paynesville Township. She is a retired nurse practitioner.
Why are you interested
in serving on the hospital board?
I have just completed one term as a board member, have learned a lot, and would like to follow-up on the "good things" that are happening at PAHCS.
How can PAHCS recruit
more providers, especially
primary care physicians?
By selling our community and health care facility. Everyone involved needs to have a positive attitude about what we have to offer.
Would you support a tax
levy to build a new hospital
in Paynesville?
Not at this time, but maybe in the future.
How important is it
for PAHCS to remain
an independent health care organization? What needs to be done to insure that PAHCS remains so?
We have functioned well as an independent facility, and I would certainly like to see that continue. In order for that to happen, we need to give excellent service and continue to recruit physicians.
