Alma Lieser, 80, St. Martin Alma H. Lieser, 80, of St. Martin died on Monday, June 24, at the CentraCare Health Systems Hospital in Melrose. Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 27, at St. Martin Catholic Church. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Alma Helen Rolfes was born on Dec. 20, 1932, to Rudolph and Bertha (Behnen) Rolfes in Munson Township. On Sept. 20, 1955, she married Alvarius Lieser at St. CatherineÕs Catholic Church in Farming. In 1967, the couple started farming in Lake Henry Township and did so for many years. In 2010, the couple moved to St. Martin. Alma is survived by her husband, Alvarius "Al" Lieser of St. Martin; children, Sandra (fiance Melvin Michels) Sheets of Hawick, Karen (Michael) Hecimovich of Belgrade, and Kevin (Jolene) Lieser of Lake Henry; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Martha Fasen of Eden Prairie, Ray Rolfes of Farming, Theresa Backes of St. Cloud, Andrew Rolfes of St. Anna, Leora Burg of St. Martin, and Irene Schmidt of Hermantown; and several sisters- and brothers-in-law. Alma was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and two infant brothers-in-law. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, July 2, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids. Burial was St. JosephÕs Cemetery in Waite Park.
Julann was born Jan. 28, 1967, to Merle and Grace (Nelson) Nacey in Paynesville.
She married Dan Krupke on Aug. 10, 1985, at Grace Methodist Church in Paynesville.
They lived in St. Joseph before moving to Sauk Rapids in 1991.
Julann worked as a secretary for most of her life.
Julann is survived by her husband, Dan of Sauk Rapids; daughter and son, Jennifer (Shawn) McLaughlin of Rice and Sam Krupke of Sauk Rapids; mother, Grace Nacey of Paynesville; brothers, Denny Nacey of Paynesville, Larry Nacey of New London, and Roger Nacey of Waite Park; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Nacey.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22, at Paynesville Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Paynesville Cemetery.
Cheryl Mae Nelson was born on Sept. 23, 1947, to Lyle and Phyllis (Raatz) Lipovsky in Sisseton, S.D.
She grew up in Claire City, S.D., where she received her primary school education. Cheryl then went on to graduate from New Effington High School in New Effington, S.D., with the Class of 1965.
After high school, Cheryl earned her business degree in Aberdeen, S.D. She then moved to Washington D.C., where she worked for the FBI.
Cheryl returned to South Dakota and married Bob Week. This union was blessed with two sons. The family made their home in rural Sisseton, where they farmed, and Cheryl worked at the Registrar of Deeds Office at the county courthouse.
On Jan. 16, 1993, Cheryl married Terry Nelson in Claire City, S.D.
They made their home in Paynesville, where Cheryl worked for the Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed working there for 11 years before her retirement.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Terry of Paynesville; sons, Jeff (Brandee) Week of Sparta, Wis., and Cory (Jessica) Week of Glenwood; step daughter Jennie (Dennis) Smith of Litchfield; four grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Lipovsky of Sioux Falls, S.D., Nancy Elstad of Jamestown, N.D., and Lori Storley of Watertown, S.D.; two nieces; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Lucille was born on Jan. 11, 1916, to Henry and Josephine (Abeln) Vogt in Cold Spring.
She married Erwin Fuchs on July 18, 1939, in Waite Park.
Lucille is survived by her son, Everett "Bud" (Cally) Fuchs of Hudson, Wis.; daughters, Judy (Marlin) Cooper of Litchfield and Pam Fuchs of Sauk Rapids; brothers, Harold Vogt of Waite Park and Albert Vogt of Sauk Rapids; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erwin; brother, Edwin; and sisters, Verena, Colette, Martha and Laura.
Memorials are preferred to the home-delivered meals program at the Paynesville Area Center or St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud.
